French Verbs Trainer App Reviews

There are a lot of verbs and explanations. But i need to be able to search in English - how can I find the word Im looking for otherwise? Groupings of verbs would make the quiz structure much easier also, whether it be by endings or by meanings (I.e., -er verbs or verbs relating to school or sports, etc). Or maybe let me take a quiz only on imperfect, or only on present tense? Or let me select a group of verbs to study! Otherwise, its got way too many words to actually learn in any reasonable amount of time.

Every French app I have gives pronunciation and has the audio on it. Most were free. I like the definitions on this but I have that in books. There is no practice or interaction on this. Absolutely not worth paying for. It should have been free until more developed! Sorry about the bad review but you should go and look at what is out there for less $$ or free and youll understand why.

Easy to navigate. The search box in particular is really useful. Its handy as a quick reference guide.

Seriously? You want me to pay MORE $$$ in this version for features I ALREADY HAD?! Not worth the initial $1.99 for the full version if youre going to decide that you need another $4.99 later for the same features!

Really great for learn the verb conjugations

The passé compose (passé simple) is incorrect for all verbs.

I have Verb Trainer in 3 languages. I dont care for the price, but also I wish the verb were presented first in the quiz. The current way, person/verb/meaning, accidentally reinforces the -er sound as the -ez form, which is only acceptable for "vous". I like being able to choose the verbs Ill be quizzed on, as well as the tense. This helps to concentrate on the verbs Im having trouble with.

This app is virtually useless without paying $5 to "upgrade". Having resented what I considered an annoying marketing practice I didnt upgrade, and cant comment on the substance of the app. I did notice an amusing review that said the app had every verb wrongly conjugated in the "passé composé (passé sample)". Apparently the reviewer was unaware that they are two different tenses (the passé simple, or "literary past", being used only in written French) and no one should hesitate to buy the app because of that reviewers comment.

This was my favorite app! It was perfect! But then I updated it, and its HORRIBLE! I cant use anything, the quiz wont work, its freezing, and just unusable. Its a pity, because it really was a great, user friendly, amazing app. If I could give it no stars, I would. I am uninstalling it!

"New" version constantly kicks you out. Just deleted the app. I have no patience for this.

Crashes every time I play the timed verb game. Every single time, without exception. Please fix!

I like this app but it always quit unexpectedly only because of that i feel annoyed please fix the problem

Ive been using this application for a while but unfortunately ever since it got updated/changed front page, etc., none of the features of the new App appear to be working. Every time when I click on it, I get kicked out of it - a constant crash! Hope it gets fixed soon.

The app crashes after answering a few cards in training mode.

This app seems to substantive defects: in the introduction it refers to Spanish as the language that is the subject of the app; and the "trainer" shows no correct answer for several verbs as to which I tested myself -- even though it lists the correct answer. The instruction for the site, in any event, are scant and unhelpful. They need to go back to the drawing board and get out the kinks.

Seems like a useful app EXCEPT I paid for the upgrade and nothing was unlocked. No response from developers and as of yet no refund!
